Job Description - In - House Motor Assessor

Description
The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing motor OD claims, conducting surveys, and managing relationships with dealers, vendors, and customers. They will ensure efficient and effective claims handling, maintaining high standards of customer service and technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

Handle motor OD claims and ensure timely resolution.
Conduct surveys and site visits to assess damage and gather relevant information.
Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, vendors, and customers.
Manage and oversee a team of claims adjusters, providing guidance and support.
Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in claims management.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Provide regular reports and updates on claim progress and performance.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance claims management, preferably in motor OD.
Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer and vendor management.
Proficiency in using claims management software and MS Office applications.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for surveys and meetings.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
A self-starter with a proactive approach to work.
