At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.Responsibilities:
· Implementation & Configuration:
· Design, configure, and customize the SAP MM module for client requirements, including settings for purchasing, materials, and valuation. · Business Analysis:
· Analyze complex business processes, gather requirements from stakeholders, and translate them into functional SAP solutions. · Integration:
· Ensure smooth integration between SAP MM and other modules (like FI, CO, SD) and third-party systems. · Testing & Support:
· Develop test scripts, conduct testing (including UAT), resolve issues, and provide ongoing end-user support. · Documentation:
· Create and maintain functional designs, process documents, and training materials. · Process Optimization:
· Drive continuous improvement in procurement, inventory, and logistics processes for efficiency and cost savings.
· Core Areas of Focus
· Procurement: Purchase Order (PO) processing, vendor management, sourcing.
· Master Data: Material Master, Vendor Master data management.
· Inventory Management: Goods Receipts (GR), Goods Issues (GI), stock transfers.
· Logistics: Invoice Verification, Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
