Dredging: Over the past few years, we have evolved from a basic dredging company to a comprehensive dredging services provider. We are the largest dredging organization for the past two decades, offering a diverse range of services including maintenance dredging, capital dredging, and environmental dredging solutions.


Job Purpose: Works Manager oversees project planning, budgeting, and execution in dredging operations, optimizing methods for productivity, regulatory compliance, and reducing breakdown hours through timely repairs.



Responsibilities

Operational Planning and Execution:



  • Develop and implement project plans, enhance organizational capabilities, and apply correct dredging methods for improved productivity.


Resource Management:



  • Strategically allocate resources, oversee site setups, and optimize resource utilization across diverse environments.


Budget Control:



  • Prepare detailed budgets, manage expenses, and conduct regular financial reviews to ensure projects stay within budget.


Asset Management:



  • Boost dredger availability and efficiency through frequent inspections, prompt technical team coordination for defect repairs, thorough staff training, and maintaining statutory certifications for peak operational readiness and performance.


Statutory compliances:



  • Maintain legal and operational integrity by ensuring all project-related statutory requirements are met, coordinating across departments for adherence to labour laws, site regulations, and company compliances.


Project Management:



  • Proactively address project challenges, assess risks, and devise contingency plans for smooth project progression.


Documentation and Reporting:



  • Prepare schedules, coordinate progress reports, and ensure accurate documentation for project management.


Health & Safety:



  • Maintain a safe work environment, conduct emergency drills, and participate in safety initiatives to comply with regulations.


Digital Mindset:



  • Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.


Team Development:



  • Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success.

  • Project Manager

  • Superintendent - Fabrication & Machine Shop

  • Head of Section – Workshop

Qualifications

Education Qualification:



  • Diploma / B.Tech. in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering


Work Experience (Range of years):



  • 10 / 05 Yrs. in Dredging operational activity, Sea Crafts, Barge operational activity
