Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Experience Required: 2-4 Years

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), Kubernetes, and automation tools. This role involves managing highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure, enabling smooth CI/CD processes, and ensuring high system reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

● Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable infrastructure on public cloud platforms (preferably AWS).

● Enforce cloud security best practices including server hardening, patch management, and vulnerability scanning.

● Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.

● Build, deploy, and manage container environments using Docker or containerd.

● Administer Linux systems and possess a deep understanding of subsystems like memory, networking, and storage.

● Ensure robust network configurations including DNS, TCP/IP, OSI Layers, routing, and load balancing.

● Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or Crossplane.

● Work in a GitOps environment integrating with CI/CD pipelines and version-controlled infrastructure changes.

● Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell for deployment and monitoring.

● Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system health andperformance.

Required Skills & Experience

● 3+ years of hands-on experience in at least one public cloud environment (AWS preferred).

● Strong experience with Kubernetes (setup, management, debugging).

● Proficiency with Docker/containerd and container orchestration.

● Solid Linux administration skills with knowledge of kernel-level concepts.

● Understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, TCP/IP, routing, OSI layers, load balancing.

● Experience with CI/CD tools and GitOps practices.

● Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).

● Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).

Good to Have

● Previous experience in fintech or highly regulated environments, with knowledge of

compliance and security standards.

● Experience in implementing Service Tiering, SLOs, and SLIs.

● Hands-on coding experience in Python, Java, or Go.

● Knowledge of CDN configurations, caching strategies at the edge, and multi-origin setups.

● Ability to write complex WAF (Web Application Firewall) rules.
