Indirect Procurement Manager

Job purpose:

Managing indirect Procurement activity including CAPEX, OPEX Purchases and site services along with the supporting Category management project at regional level.

Main accountabilities and tasks:

• Accountable for value delivery, contract implementation and stakeholder management within assigned country
• Manage stakeholder needs and effective in liquidation of pending indent with specification driven sourcing
• Understanding of Works and Service agreement, CAPEX Purchase, Manpower contract and compliances
• Proficiency in working on SAP MM and Other reporting software/tools
• Work flexibly and collaboratively across organization
• Think creatively and challenge the status quo
• Take responsibility for identifying risks and taking mitigation actions
• Responsible for the timely conversion of requisitions through purchase order placement
• Coordinates with suppliers and business partners to resolve routine issues
• Support implementation of global contracts that support the Global Category Strategy
• Facilitate negotiations and completion of local contracts
• Actively engage stakeholders and understand their key needs/requirements
• Support supplier management activities and manage supplier performance and innovation activities for local suppliers, including issue resolution
• Explain major benefits of contracts, Issue monthly MIS for site indirect procurement
• Identify process improvement opportunities, and promoting procurement best practice in a complex, multi-site operation across country

Desired experience and qualifications:

Work experience : 10+ years’ work experience in a purchasing role with a focus on relevant categories

Understanding of key sourcing processes and tools as well as contractual and legal aspects

Strong preference for Professional Procurement Qualifications

Hands on SAP working.

Should have buying experience of All indirect materials, MRO and consumables, Tooling and office stationaries and service contract related to Admin, HR , Facility management , Maintenance and Operation , Packing , Painting

Education: Level: B.E. Mechanical / B.Tech Subject: Any discipline

Languages: Fluent in local languages(s) and in English
