Industrial Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aeronautical / Industrial Designer with 3–5 years of experience in aerospace or high -technology product design. The candidate will be responsible for end -to -end design of aeronautical systems and components, with a strong focus on aerodynamics, structural integrity, manufacturability, and aesthetics, particularly for UAVs, aircraft components, or advanced defense/aerospace platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and develop aeronautical products and components from concept to production
  

• Create industrial design concepts with strong emphasis on form, function, and aerodynamics
  

• Develop detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawings
  

• Collaborate with aerodynamics, structures, avionics, and manufacturing teams
  

• Perform design optimization considering weight, strength, thermal behavior, and manufacturability
  

• Conduct DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and material selection
  

• Support prototype development, testing, and design iterations
  

• Ensure designs comply with aerospace standards, safety norms, and regulatory requirements
  

• Document design processes and maintain configuration control
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in aeronautical / aerospace / UAV / advanced engineering products
  

• Strong understanding of aerodynamics, aircraft structures, and industrial design principles
  

• Proficiency in CAD tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, Fusion 360, or similar
  

• Experience with composite materials, lightweight structures, and aerospace -grade materials
  

• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC, composites, additive manufacturing, sheet metal)
  

• Ability to interpret and create GD&T -compliant drawings
  

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience in UAV / Drone / Aerospace defense projects
  

• Exposure to CFD / FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, Fluent, etc.)
  

• Knowledge of DO -160, MIL -STD, or aerospace certification processes
  

• Hands -on experience with prototyping and testing
  

• Strong visual design sense and attention to detail
