Job Description - Industrial Designer

We are looking for a creative and hands -on Industrial Designer to shape the form, usability, and manufacturability of our physical products. You will work closely with mechanical, electronics, and manufacturing teams to turn concepts into production -ready designs.

Key Responsibilities

- Design physical products from concept to production (form, ergonomics, materials, CMF)
- Create sketches, 2D layouts, and detailed 3D CAD models
- Develop product enclosures, housings, and structural layouts
- Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, and firmware teams
- Conduct design iterations based on engineering, testing, and user feedback
- Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing (DFM/DFA)
- Prepare detailed drawings, BOMs, and design documentation
- Support prototyping, testing, and vendor coordination
- Maintain design consistency and brand aesthetics across products

Requirements

- Degree/Diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field
- Strong proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / Rhino / Creo)
- Good understanding of materials, manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, sheet metal, 3D printing)
- Experience designing real, manufacturable products
- Strong sense of form, usability, and detailing
- Ability to work in fast -paced, iterative environments

Good to Have

- Experience with hardware startups, drones, robotics, or industrial products
- Knowledge of basic mechanical engineering principles
- Experience coordinating with vendors and manufacturers
- Understanding of tolerance, assembly, and cost optimization
- Portfolio showcasing end -to -end product design
