Job Description - Industrial Engineer - Garments

We are looking for a performance -driven Industrial Engineer to optimize production efficiency and improve operational processes in our home textile manufacturing unit.

If you are strong in process improvement, time & motion study, and productivity enhancement, this is your opportunity to make a real impact on shop -floor performance ?

Key Responsibilities:

â Conduct time & motion studies to improve efficiency

â Analyze production processes and implement productivity improvements

â Optimize manpower utilization & workflow planning

â Develop and monitor line balancing & capacity planning

â Reduce wastage, cost & cycle time

â Prepare SOPs, process documentation & MIS reports

â Work closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement (Lean practices)

â Monitor KPIs like efficiency, output, and quality

Requirements

Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts
Experience in time study, motion study & line balancing
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma tools
Knowledge of production planning & process optimization
Strong analytical and problem -solving skills
Proficiency in MS Excel & reporting tools
Good communication and shop -floor coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications:

BE / B.Tech in Industrial Engineering / Textile / Mechanical
Experience in home textiles / garment / textile manufacturing preferred
