Design and implement fixtures, trolleys, ladders, and equipment for new and existing products to reduce cycle time and improve productivity.
Develop, implement, evaluate, and document best practices using Lean manufacturing techniques.
Re -engineer factory layouts and process flows to optimize efficiency while ensuring employee and product safety.
Identify and eliminate Non -Value -Added (NVA) activities, especially at bottleneck assembly stations, to improve throughput.
Conduct time and video studies to analyze assembly processes and drive continuous improvement.
Conduct periodic shop -floor audits of tools and test adaptors to avoid loss, misplacement, and production disruptions.
Forecast, plan, and manage procurement of standard and customized tools, equipment, machines, ladders, and trolleys as per project timelines.
Inspect tools, fixtures, trolleys, ladders, and machinery at supplier sites during development stages to ensure specification compliance.
Oversee calibration and periodic maintenance of tools, gauges, test adaptors, and related hardware.
Raise SAP Purchase Requisitions for tools, jigs, and fixtures.
Coordinate repair and maintenance of tools, fixtures, trolleys, connectors, hoses, and other consumables.
Update drawings and layouts to reflect shop -floor changes and equipment relocations.
Prepare SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for assemblies and machine handling to ensure clear communication with assembly engineers and operators.
Develop and maintain process flow diagrams and documentation for assemblies and component processing.
Support training and guidance for shop -floor teams on updated processes and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5–10 years of hands -on experience in Industrial Engineering within a product -based or manufacturing industry.
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Experience in tooling design, industrial maintenance, and shop -floor support.
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Working knowledge of SAP for purchase requisitions (tools, jigs, fixtures).
