Infor HCM Functional Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Infor HCM Functional Consultant to support implementation, configuration, enhancement, and production support activities across Infor HCM solutions. The consultant will work closely with HR/business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective HCM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from HR and business stakeholders.
  
• Configure and customize Infor HCM modules based on business requirements.
  
• Participate in end-to-end implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and support projects.
  
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and prepare functional specifications.
  
• Work with business users to define As-Is and To-Be processes.
  
• Configure and support HCM processes including Core HR, Employee Management, Time & Attendance, Absence Management, Payroll, and Workforce Management as applicable.
  
• Prepare functional design documents, process flows, test cases, and user documentation.
  
• Plan and execute functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT.
  
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve functional issues in coordination with technical teams.
  
• Coordinate with integration/development teams for interfaces, reports, data migration, and customizations.
  
• Support data validation and migration activities during implementations.
  
• Conduct user training, demonstrations, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
  
• Provide post-go-live support and participate in continuous process improvements.
  
• Manage client/stakeholder communication and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  

Requirements

Required Skills

• 3–10 years of experience in Infor HCM functional consulting.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Infor HCM implementation and/or support.
  
• Good understanding of HR business processes and HCM functionality.
  
• Experience in requirement gathering, functional analysis, configuration, and testing.
  
• Strong knowledge of HCM modules such as Core HR, Time & Attendance, Absence, Payroll, or Workforce Management.
  
• Experience preparing functional specifications and test documentation.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively with business users, clients, and technical teams.
  
• Experience working in global/multi-location HCM environments is an advantage.
  
• Infor HCM certification is an added advantage.
  

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Preferred

• Experience in end-to-end Infor HCM implementations.
  
• Experience with integrations and third-party HR/payroll systems.
  
• Knowledge of HR compliance and workforce management processes.
  
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
