Information Management Coordinator

Role Purpose

The Information Management Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and guiding the information management
activities within the organization, including data management, tag scanning
software. This role requires a strong understanding of information management
principles, best practices, and technologies. The successful candidate will be
responsible for developing and implementing information management strategies,
ensuring quality and integrity across all functions.

Key Tasks and
Responsibilities

• Develop information management plan on the project, based on
  project specifications & requirement. Operate based on the approved
  Information Management plan and monitor its implementation throughout
  project life cycle.
  
• Responsible for day -to -day administration of Project
  Information Management requirements. Act as the point of contact between
  engineering teams, project stakeholders, and external stakeholders for IM -related
  queries.
  
• Provide necessary support/guidance to complete the project on
  time, within scope, and within budget. Responsible to maintain project
  Lifecycle information until Handover and close out of the project.
  
• Define and monitor information management performance
  metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective
  actions as needed.
  
• Ensure quality and integrity across all information
  management functions.
  
• Coordinate the development, operation, and maintenance of
  information management / tag scanning software tool, ensuring they meet
  the organization's requirements and industry best practices.
  
• Manage the operation of the tag scanning software tool,
  including the development of tag identification philosophy, configuration
  of look -up tables and coding structures, and monitoring of file processing
  for accuracy and completeness.
  
• Deliver training and provide administrative support to
  project team members on information management principles, tools, and
  techniques, including the use of tag validation systems.
  
• Monitor required error reports are generated and available to
  team on time. Provide recommendations & resolutions to team.
  
• Prepare dashboards and report to relevant stakeholders reflecting key issues & errors, which helps to meet IM requirements. Prepare ongoing
  reports, close out reports for client presentations, if required.
  
• Ensure traceability
  and version control of project deliverables and technical records. Support
  audits and quality checks by ensuring timely access to accurate records.
  
• Highlight major risks, mitigation plan, key concerns to
  Engineering Interface co -ordinator, project representatives regularly.
  
• Ensure a collaborative approach is maintained. Coordinate
  with stakeholders across the organization and within multi -disciplinary
  team, to facilitate successful implementation of information management activities
  in projects.
