Built by security and software professionals, the Ontic Platform connects and unifies critical data, business processes, and collaborators in one place, consolidating security intelligence and operations. We call this Connected Intelligence. Ontic serves corporate security teams across key functions, including intelligence, investigations, GSOC, executive protection, and security operations.

• Work with security, development and QA teams to document and implement secure software development practices
• Coordinate Static Code Analysis Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
• Coordinate internal and external application penetration testing
• Conduct Risk Assessments and Threat Modeling exercises with the development teams
• Perform security testing including application penetration testing
• Help configure Mac and Windows laptops to meet security requirements.
• Provide IT support to local staff and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Manage the local office network and firewall
• Monitor and enforce adherence to corporate security policies.
• Stay current on emerging industry and technology trends.

• BA/BS or higher in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management of Information Systems, or a related field
• 10+ years' experience in an information security setting
• CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH, OWASP, or similar certifications preferred
• Some experience with scripting languages (Bash, Shell, Python)
• Must have experience with ISO 27001/27002, SOC 2 or similar security frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to speak up if security best practices are not being followed
• Comfortable working as the single member of the security team in a remote location
