Position: - IT L1 Support Engineer

Job location: - Navi Mumbai

Employment type:- Third party payroll (Contract)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • User ID management (creation, deletion, modification, incl. documentation) in AD and various applications and keeping MIS record for the same.
  • IT Inventory management.
  • Flexibility to accommodate Support hours of operation, 24 hours a day, seven days-a- week, including holidays
  • Expertise in helpdesk, Active Directory management, unlocking applications.
  • Hand on experience in application support, password reset.
  • Microsoft Windows Server & AD (Active Directory) troubleshoot, maintain and administer
  • VMware troubleshooting and administration
  • Managing the DR environments and taking part in DR test exercises
  • Knowledge of ITII.
  • Ability to demonstrate experience of AD (Active Directory, ADFS, Group Policy management, Folder access management etc.)
  • Customer-centric career experience and excellent Time management skills.Ability to work within customer focused team
  • Excellent communication skills, Excellent written and verbal communication and effective organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new technical domains and train others.
  • Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues through sharing best practices and direct resolution.
  • Should be flexible to work in an operational environment, rotational shifts and on-call schedule.
  • MCSE, CCNA, MCP or similar certifications desirable
  • Knowledge in SQLs is a plus.
  • Other general responsibilities as instructed by management.

Qualification: computer science/IT UG/PG background

Experience: 4-8 years of work experience and expertise in Service Desk L1 level, Active Directory management, unlocking, application support, password reset, ADFS, Group policy management, VMWare administration, Windows Server, Linux server, DNS, TCPIP. The position is for Contract to Hire. Preferably Night Shift.
