The KDN Digital Audit team is looking for an experienced audit professional to join as an assistant manager, support the implementation and scale-up of AI-enabled Data & Analytics routines that leverages innovative techniques to analyze volumes of transactional data and identify areas of audit risk.
In this role, you will collaborate with KPMG member firms and audit teams that have some experience with D&A and are looking to strengthen their adoption. You will guide them starting from planning and data discussions to reviewing AI-driven outputs and shaping the audit response. This role is ideal for professionals with an audit background who are passionate about enhancing audit quality and efficiency through innovative techniques using AI to analyze data.
Support member firm’s D&A champion to identify suitable audit engagements for AI-enabled Data & Analytical (D&A) procedures.
Assist in planning & conducting kick-off meetings to align on scope, expectations, timelines, and roles.
Guide audit teams in defining data requirements and support client discussions to obtain accurate and complete data.
Assist in setting up key elements for AI-enabled D&A procedures such as financial data structuring.
Liaison effectively with data professionals to support the data lifecycle, ensuring alignment with audit objective.
Interpret results from AI-enabled D&A procedures and support audit teams in identifying areas of risk or further testing.
Document and communicate insights derived from D&A procedures to audit teams.
Undertake larger and medium-sized assignments independently or assist in larger assignments reporting to a Manager.
Identification of issues/missing information and managing & tracking the open issues until resolved.
Coordinate with engagement teams to obtain the required data to perform D&A solutions.
Maintain data confidentiality and adhere to the risk management policy.

Educational qualifications
Chartered Accountant / ACCA / CPA
Work experience
4-5 years post qualified experience in a large or globally recognized audit firm and/or Delivery Center environment
Having prior experience of working on D&A procedures on audit engagements would be an added advantage
Preferred technical & functional skills
Advanced knowledge of audit methodology related to risk assessment, controls testing, and substantive procedures.
Experience of applying risk of material misstatements in audits.
Intermediate to Advanced level in MS Excel and MS Word.
Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Alteryx or any ETL tools would be an added advantage
