Job Description & Summary:  

We are seeking a skilled Scala Developer with hands-on experience working on Hadoop clusters, deploying applications on Kubernetes, and familiarity with various cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable applications and data processing workflows in a distributed environment. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain scalable applications using Scala. 

• Work with Hadoop clusters to process large datasets efficiently. 

• Deploy and manage Scala-based applications on Kubernetes clusters. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions. 

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability on cloud infrastructure. 

• Troubleshoot issues related to distributed computing environments and cloud deployments. 

• Ensure code quality through thorough testing and adherence to best practices. 

• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile development processes. 

Mandatory skill sets: 

• Proven experience as a Scala developer. 

• Strong knowledge of working on Hadoop ecosystem and cluster management. 

• Hands-on experience deploying applications on Kubernetes clusters. 

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 

• Understanding of distributed systems and big data technologies. 

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools. 

• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. 

• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

Preferred skill sets: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

• Experience with related technologies like Spark, Kafka, or Flink. 

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. 

• Understanding of Agile methodologies. 

Years of experience required: 

8 to 12 years 

Education qualification: 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (60% above)
