INR 174 Accounting Associate/Sr. Accounting Associate

Maintain books of accounts and ledgers for clients and their entities under US GAAP. 

Prepare and review financial statements and general ledgers for accuracy and compliance. 

Manage revenue entries, inventory, receivables, and payables. 

Implement and follow accounting policies and internal controls. 

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany ledgers. 

Act as the accounting contact for internal queries. 

Support month-end/year-end close and prepare journal entries. 

Assist with external audits and provide required documentation. 

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support tax reporting. 

Assist in hiring, training, and supervising accounting staff as per client policies. 

Bachelor’s degree in accounting domain is necessary. CMA-US or similar professional qualification from a recognized body within the country or abroad is mandatory.Partially qualified candidates with expertise in the necessary domain will also be considered if found apt for the role. 

Candidates should ideally showcase experience/knowledge with the U.S. GAAP (General accounting and taxation). 

2-4 years of progressive accounting experience is preferred. 

Exceptional analytical skills and detail orientation along with excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal associates and external partners. 

Ability to apply advanced problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and the capability to work with time-bound environments. 

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and general ledger applications
