Job Description - Inside Sales Executive

Location: Chennai (On -site / Field as required)

Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and detail -oriented Inside Sales Executive who will be the backbone of our outbound sales motion. This role spans the full sales cycle — from identifying the right prospects to booking qualified meetings and supporting the sales head in closing deals. You will be the first voice a prospect hears and the last detail that keeps our CRM clean.

 

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Pipeline Development

  • Define, research, and continuously refine the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) in alignment with the Sales Head
  • Build and maintain targeted prospect lists across industries relevant to SAP solutions
  • Execute structured cold calling and email outreach campaigns with clear messaging and follow -up cadences

Outreach & Campaign Execution

  • Plan and run multi -touch email campaigns using Zoho
  • Personalize outreach based on industry, company size, and buyer persona
  • Track open rates, response rates, and conversion metrics; iterate based on data

Meeting Fixing & Discovery

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined criteria before passing to the sales team
  • Schedule and conduct Level 1 discovery calls to understand prospect pain points, current systems, and SAP readiness
  • Represent Kannanware professionally in client -facing meetings when required

Sales Support & CRM Discipline

  • Support the Sales Head with research, presentations, and follow -up coordination
  • Maintain CRM (leads, contacts, activities, pipeline stages) with rigorous accuracy and daily discipline

What We're Looking For

  • 2–4 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in ERP solutions
  • Familiarity with SAP ecosystem is a strong advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Tamil proficiency is a plus
  • Hands -on with CRM tools and comfortable with sales automation platforms
  • Self -starter with high ownership, resilience on cold calls, and a structured approach to follow -ups
  • Willingness to travel within Chennai and occasionally to client sites
