Founder Profile




Arnav Kumar
is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. Leap is his second company and he
has raised more than $30M in capital for his startups. In his last
role, he was a VC investor with SAIF Partners (Now Elevation
Capital), which is an early investor in paytm, meesho, urban
company, unacademy and many other unicorns. He thinks and tweets

Vaibhav Singh
is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. He spent his first 6 years at
DeutscheBank, across Singapore & Sydney to manage a $3Bn flow
book. He has built 2 fintech startups before, as a founding member
of CapitalFloat and Incred, both pioneering businesses valued
>$500Mn The Leap team has a fine balance of industry experience
(edtech, fintech, study abroad) and technical skills (engineering,
product, design)

About the Role:


At Leap, we are looking for an experienced Inside Sales Head to scale strategic business units, drive significant revenue growth, and manage a large team. If you're a results-driven leader with expertise in handling a sales team, and scaling businesses across multiple verticals, we'd love to have you join our fast-paced, high-performance environment.


The charter for this role will include:

  • Drive revenue targets, identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities within strategic business categories.

  • Oversee and guide sales managers across multiple units, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving performance.

  • Manage a team size of 50+ employees, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the execution of key business initiatives.

  • Lead transformation projects aimed at unlocking the next phase of growth, focusing on high-impact outcomes.

  • Collaborate directly with senior leadership, including Founders and Business Leaders, to address key challenges and deliver solutions across multiple business lines.

  • Act as a strategic consultant, providing critical insights and recommendations to improve business success and plug any operational gaps.

  • Design and execute growth strategies for key product categories, focusing on scalability and market fit.


Ideal Persona would:

  • Strong knowledge of tools & Processes for Sales Funnel Manage and digital marketing strategies, with the ability to leverage both channels for sales growth.

  • Strong experience in managing Training & Quality efforts for a Sales Organization.

  • Strong experience in designing sales incentives.

  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, capable of analyzing complex situations and developing effective solutions.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage, influence, and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

  • 7-10 years of experience managing large sales teams across multiple verticals

  • Proven experience managing teams of 50+ individuals, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and high performance across diverse units.

  • Experience in managing multiple categories/business units

  • Ability to drive performance and optimize sales strategies across different product categories and business units, while ensuring strong alignment with overall business objectives.
