Job Description - Inside Sales Manager

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 800000 - Rs 1200000 (ie INR 8 - 12 LPA)

Min Experience: 5 years

Location: Bengaluru

JobType: full-time

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inside Sales Manager with 5–10 years of experience to lead and scale our personal loans sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inside sales, team management, and financial products—particularly personal loans. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive revenue growth, manage a high-performing inside sales team, and ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the loan acquisition process.

The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily sales activities, mentoring sales executives, optimizing lead conversion strategies, and achieving aggressive business targets. The role demands strong leadership, analytical abilities, and hands-on involvement in driving sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of inside sales executives focused on personal loan acquisition and lead conversion.
  • Develop and implement effective inside sales strategies to maximize revenue and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Monitor sales pipelines, track performance metrics, and ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds KPIs.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and coaching programs to enhance product knowledge, communication skills, and sales techniques.
  • Ensure high lead conversion by optimizing call scripts, follow-up processes, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure a smooth lead flow and seamless loan processing experience.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and sales data to identify new opportunities for growth in the personal loans segment.
  • Maintain strong compliance with company policies and financial regulations related to lending practices.
  • Manage CRM tools and sales dashboards to monitor team productivity, lead status, and revenue forecasts.
  • Handle escalated customer queries and ensure timely resolution to maintain customer satisfaction and trust.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of experience in inside sales, preferably within personal loans, consumer lending, NBFCs, fintech, or banking sectors.
  • Proven experience in team management, including hiring, training, and motivating inside sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of personal loan products, credit evaluation basics, and lending processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales metrics and optimize performance.
  • Experience working with CRM systems, sales dashboards, and lead management tools.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and drive execution through a team.
