Job Description - Institutional Sales Representative or Business Development or Sales

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Min Experience: 10 years

Location: Chennai, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh

JobType: full-time

This role involves leading and expanding institutional sales across the entire South Zone, with a strong focus on Corporate Hospitals, Government and Institutional Healthcare Facilities, Multispecialty Hospitals, and Nursing Homes. You will be responsible for building long-term relationships with key medical professionals and hospital decision-makers while driving sales growth, brand visibility, and strategic market penetration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales across the South Zone by engaging with leading healthcare institutions, including corporate, government, and multispecialty hospitals, as well as nursing homes.
  • Meet and interact with key medical professionals such as gynecologists, diabetologists, intensivists, pediatricians, nursing staff, and other influencers to promote the product portfolio.
  • Build, strengthen, and sustain long-term relationships with hospitals and institutional stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations with hospital management to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships and business outcomes.
  • Enhance brand presence through consistent sales activities and in-hospital engagement strategies.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies, product plans, and revenue initiatives to expand market share and grow both existing and new accounts.
  • Manage and guide the complete South Zone institutional sales team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Ensure quality hospital coverage and efficient sales performance through optimal leadership of both on-roll and off-roll team members.
  • Oversee stock and inventory management within the hospital purchase departments.
  • Conduct educational sessions, training, and product demonstrations for hospital staff and key decision-makers.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
