This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Instructional Designer (Short-Term Contract) based in India.
This short-term contract role is focused on designing and developing engaging, learner-centered digital training experiences for global clients. You will work in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment where instructional design meets hands-on eLearning development. The role emphasizes practical execution, especially in building interactive courses using modern authoring tools like Articulate Rise. You will collaborate closely with learning architects and senior designers to transform structured content into clear, engaging, and effective learning journeys. While graphics support is provided, your primary focus will be on instructional design, storyboarding, and course creation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys short-cycle projects, rapid delivery, and working within established frameworks while still influencing learning quality. Accountabilities:
- Design and develop engaging eLearning courses using Articulate Rise, ensuring alignment with instructional goals and learner needs.
- Translate raw content and stakeholder inputs into structured, interactive learning experiences.
- Create clear and detailed storyboards that guide the instructional flow and course development process.
- Build assessments, knowledge checks, and interactive elements that reinforce learning outcomes.
- Ensure all content is SCORM-compliant and compatible with LMS environments.
- Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure accuracy, usability, and consistency across devices.
- Collaborate with learning designers and stakeholders, incorporating feedback quickly and effectively.
- Leverage AI tools and modern authoring technologies to improve productivity and enhance learning experiences.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in instructional design or eLearning development roles.
- Strong hands-on experience building courses in Articulate Rise, with working knowledge of Articulate Storyline.
- Proven ability to create instructional storyboards and structured learning flows.
- Solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Experience developing self-paced digital learning content in a corporate or client-facing environment.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to organize complex content clearly.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with SCORM standards, LMS platforms, and accessibility best practices is a plus.
- Exposure to AI tools and modern content creation platforms (e.g., Vyond, Synthesia, Canva, Adobe Express) is an advantage.
