Instrumentation Manager

Designation : Manager- Instrumentation

Qualification : B.E./B. Tech (Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation

Experience : 10 to 15 Years

Essential Skills:

Knowledge of PLC, SCADA Software & Hardware, Drives, Field instruments, PM & calibration, SAP, Special type of Microprocessor based control system like Emhart, Bottero, IR (Centac) etc.

Key Roles/Responsibilities: –

-Reduce production loss due to instrumentation related break downs.

-Control Stores & Spares and R & M for instrument dept.

-Develop new vendor for indigenisation of critical & costly items.

-Identify technically obsolete item in the plant & develop its alternate arrangement.

-Overall responsibility for PM system & Calibration of all instruments in the plant.

-Implementation of ISO activity in dept.

-Project related activities and modifications as and when required

-Arrange for internal and external training for department including identification of training needs.

-Complying to all ISO requirements

Desired Behavioral Competencies:

-Knowledge of Six sigma tools like DOE, hypothesis, fishbone, etc
