Job Description - Insurance SPOC

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result -oriented Assistant Manager to manage and drive Insurance across the CSC network in Telangana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operational excellence, VLE engagement, stakeholder coordination, business growth, and achieving service targets while ensuring seamless delivery of citizen -centric services.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Manage end -to -end operations of General Insurance, Life Insurance, and other insurance products through the CSC network.

  • Drive enrollment and servicing of Pension schemes, including NPS and other government initiatives.

  • Promote and oversee Tour & Travel services such as IRCTC ticketing, bus bookings, air ticket bookings, and holiday packages.

  • Monitor service performance and implement corrective actions to achieve business targets.

VLE Engagement & Capacity Building

  • Conduct training programs and workshops for Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs).

  • Develop and deliver training content in English and Telugu.

  • Motivate and support underperforming CSC centers to improve service adoption and business performance.

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with insurance companies, pension fund managers, IRCTC, travel partners, and government departments.

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain service -wise MIS reports and performance dashboards.

  • Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to the State Head and National Team.

  • Address operational issues and ensure timely resolution of customer and VLE grievances.

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Strong operational and business management skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Experience in conducting training and capacity -building programs.

  • Good analytical, reporting, and MIS management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and achieve business targets.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in Insurance, Pension, Banking, Financial Inclusion, e -Governance, or CSC ecosystem will be preferred.

  • Familiarity with government schemes and digital service delivery is an added advantage.

Language Requirements

  • Mandatory: English and Telugu (spoken and written)

  • Preferred: Hindi
