Interconnection Specialist - Solar Projects (Fresher)

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented freshers to join our team as Interconnection Specialists. This role is a great opportunity to start your career in the solar energy industry and learn how solar projects get connected to the electricity grid. You will be trained to coordinate with utility companies, prepare applications, and support project teams in achieving interconnection approvals.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and support the preparation and submission of interconnection applications to utilities.
• Assist in collecting and reviewing technical data required for interconnection processes.
• Communicate with utility representatives under guidance from senior team members.
• Help maintain accurate records of applications, approvals, and utility correspondence.
• Stay updated on basic interconnection rules, policies, and procedures.
• Support project, permitting, and engineering teams with interconnection requirements.
• Participate in training sessions to gain knowledge of power systems, utility processes, and solar project development.

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma
• Interest in renewable energy and willingness to learn utility interconnection processes.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and power flow (preferred, not mandatory).
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage tasks with attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
