Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop interiors for hospitality projects including hotels, resorts, restaurants, and lounges.
Collaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams to define design vision and deliverables.
Create mood boards, material palettes, concept sketches, and design presentations.
Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and FF&E schedules.
Source and select finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories aligned with brand standards and design intent.
Oversee design documentation in compliance with building codes, ADA, and other applicable regulations.
Manage project timelines and budgets while maintaining design integrity.
Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
Conduct site visits and resolve design -related issues during construction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior design with a strong emphasis on hospitality projects.
Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
Strong portfolio showcasing completed hospitality design projects.
Deep understanding of spatial planning, material selection, lighting, and current hospitality trends.
Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
Knowledge of sustainability principles and wellness -focused design is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
NCIDQ certification or working toward licensure.
Experience with procurement processes for FF&E.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
