Intermediate Technician, Drafting Support

• Prepare and modify engineering drawings, Strong proficiency in layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), schematics, IO drawings, and detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop and maintain accurate 2D and 3D CAD models as per project requirements and company standards.
• Support electrical engineering teams in producing high-quality design deliverables.
• Update drawings based on engineering markups and project revisions.
• Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
• Perform drawing checks to maintain quality and compliance with project standards.
• Prepare as-built drawings and support project closeout activities.
• Good understanding of fundamental electrical engineering concepts and principles.
• Assist senior engineers in the preparation and delivery of engineering design documents, drawings, calculations, reports and other project deliverables in accordance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
• Communicate effectively with project teams regarding progress, issues, and technical queries.

Mandatory Requirements

• B.E. in Electrical Engineering. (Full-time regular course only)
• 4 to 6 years of experience in electrical drafting and design support.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD with experience in: 
  • Electrical Layouts
  • Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
  • Electrical Schematics
  • AutoCAD 3D
• Good understanding of electrical engineering drawings and drafting standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic project environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Added Advantage

• Experience with SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) and/or AVEVA E3D.
• Experience in power, substation, industrial, oil & gas, or energy projects.
• Exposure to multidisciplinary engineering environments.

AutoCAD competency will be evaluated through a practical tool test.

Experience: 4-6 Years
Qualification: B.E. graduate in Electrical Engineering (EEE). (Full-time regular course only; correspondence, distance learning, or part-time qualifications will not be considered.)
