Labconco is a leading manufacturer of laboratory equipment and solutions serving research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, academic, and industrial laboratories worldwide. We are seeking an experienced sales professional to drive growth and strengthen our distribution network across India.

The International Regional Sales Manager India will be responsible for developing and growing Labconco's business through our authorized distributor network across India. This role partners closely with dealers, end users, and internal teams to achieve revenue growth, expand market share, and support customer success throughout the territory. Travel throughout India and occasional international travel are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the sale of Labconco products through distribution network by attending trade shows, seminars, and providing field demonstrations as required. Advise International Sales leadership on suggested changes to our distributor representation, as necessary.
  • Regularly travel within assigned region and provide training for dealer personnel about all aspects of Labconco products. Host dealer visits to Labconco as required. Conduct plant tours and shows hospitality to dealers visiting Labconcos facilities in the United States.
  • Maintain accurate records and files pertaining to all aspects of dealer activities within sales territory.
  • Perform all duties necessary to respond to dealers requests for information or quotes in a timely and accurate manner. Notify dealers of sales leads and follows up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Advise the International Sales leadership on the allocation of resources to the international sales budget; adheres to budget guidelines while performing required travel within assigned territory; files and completes expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide feedback to the International Sales leadership and relevant Labconco personnel on new product ideas and opportunities that could enhance company market share, profitability, or product line expansion.
  • Responsible for handling all international sales responsibilities for the assigned territory, provides feedback/information regarding dealer activity and any relevant developments to the International Sales Manager and internal Labconco colleagues, when applicable.
  • Work in parallel with International Operations to ensure orders, shipments, and invoice payments are accurate and timely for assigned territory. Work with established freight forwarders to help dealers determine the best method of shipment for orders and Incoterms.
  • Is at a professional or fluent level in at least one major business language of the assigned sales territory, in both verbal and written communication. Ensures that dealers are supplied with sales literature and tools in their local language, where possible, within budget.

Requirements

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
  • 7-10 years of experience in life sciences and/or a scientific discipline with an emphasis selling through an established distribution.
  • Proven success managing distributor/channel sales networks and achieving revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Language Requirements

  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Fluent Hindi (written and spoken).
  • Additional Indian language proficiency (Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, etc.) is highly preferred.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 50% travel across India (approximately 10-15 days per month).
  • Must be able to obtain a valid passport and U.S. visa for occasional international travel and training.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience selling laboratory equipment: biosafety cabinets, fume hoods, freeze dryers, glassware washers, or related laboratory solutions.
  • Existing relationships with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, healthcare, and government research institutions.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to manage a geographically diverse territory.
