Reports To: Head – Spices

This position is focused on driving growth in the global market for spices, including whole spices, ground varieties, and specialized formulations. The role involves crafting and executing international sales strategies, developing and managing key client relationships, overseeing export operations, and ensuring revenue growth from overseas markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand spice exports across international markets
  • Identify, approach, and establish relationships with global clients, distributors, and trade partners
  • Manage contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal closures with overseas buyers
  • Coordinate with internal production and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment
  • Monitor international market trends, pricing movements, and competitor activity
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure timely payment collections
  • Represent the company at global trade exhibitions, buyer-seller meets, and other relevant industry events
  • Maintain and update client databases, generate reports, and ensure smooth coordination with internal teams

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)
  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in international sales of spices or agri-commodities
  • In-depth knowledge of global spice markets, export documentation, compliance, and logistics
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with international client interaction experience
  • Proficiency in foreign languages will be considered an added advantage
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required
