IP MPLS – L2 Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient IP MPLS – L2 Engineer to drive the design, deployment, technical consulting, and advanced troubleshooting of enterprise and service provider network infrastructures.
Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.


• Experience: 5 to 8 years of validated hands-on experience in technical consulting, design, deployment, and troubleshooting.


• Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certification (Routing & Switching / Service Provider) is highly desired.

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Hardware Expertise: Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco IP Routers, specifically ASR9912, ASR9910, and ASR9903 platforms.


• Operating Systems: In-depth experience with Cisco IOS-XR and IOS-XE platforms.


• Routing Protocols & Advanced Technologies: Detailed knowledge of OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, LISP, VXLAN, IPv6, MPLS LDP, MPLS TE, RSVP, VPWS, VPLS, L3VPN, TE-Tunnel, and Segment Routing.


• Switching Technologies: Comprehensive understanding of STP, RSTP, RSVP-TE, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC, MSTP, LACP, VLAN, VXLAN, EVPN, and LISP.


• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting capabilities, paired with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts and processes.
