IS Specialist

The IS Specialist can most simply and accurately be defined as a person with the ability to \nquickly understand business needs and translate that understanding into a form that leads to \nthe creation and/or composition of better solutions. \nTasks: \n\u2022 Drive improvement projects \n\u2022 Identify (internal or external) requirements \n\u2022 Analyze and document as-is process and process interfaces \n\u2022 Discover process gaps \n\u2022 Derive improvement potentials \n\u2022 Establish process performance measurement system to be able to constantly control \nand report end-to-end process performance \n\u2022 Contribute to process community \n\u2022 Develop and maintain best process management approach for Business and IT \n\u2022 Provide expertise in change management, process management and project \nmanagement \n\u2022 Develop process standards and evaluate tools as needed and support other roles \nScope Items Detail tasks \nRegular IS team \nactivities \nBased on directions from IS Team Manager, provide support for regular \nSAP and non-SAP application sustenance activities including incident \nmanagement and assisting in P1 critical tickets \nStakeholder \nManagement \nGuiding and assisting application support suppliers, internal IS members, \nBU leads and users in issue resolution, new project initiation, \nrequirement gathering as well as assisting in UAT And production cutover \nactivities. \nCoordination with \nother 3rd parties \nInteraction with 3rd parties like IT supplier, Infra support suppliers, other \naffiliates and assisting in issue resolution. \nReporting \nProducing regular reports, updates to IS and BU management, preparing \nstatus reports for regular and ad-hoc meetings. Incident reporting for \nsustenance activities etc\n
