Job Description - IT Application Solution Management
Key responsibilities:\n\n * Serve as an interface with a customer sub-group within a business unit or functional area such as Sales, Operations, Engineering, Service and Finance for the purpose of business technology alignment, solution discovery, service management, project portfolio management and relationship management.\n * Analyzes business requirements or issues, converts analysis to functional specifications, and designs solutions to meet cross functional business requirements or resolve issues. Perform and document software application configuration, prepare and execute testing scenarios and scripts (unit, integration, performance, regression acceptance) and data conversions. \n * Provides business application functional support services to meet performance, availability, customer service level agreement, and customer satisfaction targets. Monitors specific IT systems or set of systems for availability, performance and capabilities and reports anomalies through predefined process. Oversees and/or completes root cause analysis and resolution of complex outages or incident trends working with infrastructure and technical teams, support providers and application vendors. Recommends and executes required corrective actions. Participate in evaluation and recommendation of patches, point releases, major upgrades and new systems.\n * Delivers project and support services in area of responsibility within allocated budget. May be responsible for development of budgets for small to mid size projects and/or for timely renewal of maintenance and subscription contracts.\n * Adheres to and guides junior staff and contingent workers to adhere to GIS project management, software application development, testing, service management, change management, RCA and other relevant processes, standards, governance and controls. May manage execution of sox controls and testing, and support internal and external audits.\n * Plan and manage small to medium sized business application projects to ensure effective and efficient execution in line with guardrails of scope, timeline, budget and quality. May serve as a team lead on a larger, complex project.\n * Oversees/manages contingent workers performing project and/or support services. Responsible for the selection, on boarding and off boarding of contingent workers in a timely manner. Mange contingent worker project/task assignments and ensure work product quality. Approves contingent worker time sheets/cost.\n * Analyze and resolve production planning issues, including MRP exceptions, order inconsistencies, and master data defects. Handle incident, problem, and change management activities following ITSM processes. Translate business requirements into Functional Specifications (FS).Collaborate with ABAP developers for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms). Support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.\n * 8-10 years of SAP experience, with strong hands\u2011on experience in SAP PP and S4. Experience in AMS / Support + Enhancement environments. Exposure to end\u2011to\u2011end implementation or rollout projects is preferred.\n * Strong knowledge of MRP \u0026 production planning concepts, Production orders lifecycle, Master data dependencies. Ability to analyze planning issues and propose functional solutions. Basic ABAP debugging skills (desirable, not mandatory).\n\n\n\nLeadership:\n\n * Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small-large projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.\n\n\n\nProblem Solving:\n\n * Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.\n * Works independently on defined and moderately complex tasks. Contributes to process improvements and stabilization. Acts as a reliable functional point of contact for PP\u2011related issues.\n\n\n\nInterpersonal Skills:\n\n * Good analytical and problem\u2011solving skills.
