Work Model: 

• First 3 months: 5 days WFO.


• After 3 months: 3 days WFO + 2 days WFH.

Job Summary:
The Digital Excellence Center (DEC) oversees a cross-functional portfolio of digital products and provides IT services via specialized centers of excellence. Its scope includes creating reusable components (building blocks) and developing and maintaining business solutions that draw on diverse areas of expertise.
This role demands professionals with technical skills and significant experience in mission-critical services within an investment banking environment. Success in DEC requires strong cross-border collaboration skills with both IT and business teams, along with a genuine commitment to driving the bank's digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
This IT operations specialist role focuses on managing IT artifacts sourced from the Internet, specifically development libraries and software used by developers.

Key responsibilities include:
• Managing development libraries with a commitment to providing reliable service to internal development teams.
• Risk assessment: Evaluating the criticality and potential impact of requested products in relation to the risks they could bring to the Information System of CACIB
• Library management: Overseeing IT artifacts (libraries and software) sourced from the Internet that are utilized by developers
• Procedure compliance: Understanding and following established procedures for artifact management
• Stakeholder communication: Maintaining good communication with requesters to understand their needs and provide updates
• Script adaptation: Using PowerShell scripting skills to adapt and maintain scripts currently in place for library management
• Version control operations: Leveraging Git and GitLab for managing development artifacts and maintaining version control
• The role requires balancing service delivery with security considerations, ensuring that development teams have access to necessary tools while protecting CACIB's Information System from potential risks.

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities:

• Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the local Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy. Complete any mandatory training in line with legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements.


•  Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.


• Refrain from taking any steps which could lead to the removal of certification of fitness and
  properness to perform the role.


• Undertake all necessary steps to satisfy the annual certification process.


• Comply with all applicable conduct rules as prescribed by the relevant regulator.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Mission: IT operation specialist in charge of managing the IT artefact sourced from Internet (library and software used by developers)
Requirements:
- Interest in managing development libraries with willingness to provide reliable service.
- Capable of assessing criticality and potential impact of a requested product in relation to the risks that it could bring to the IS of CACIB.
- Ability to understand & follow a procedure.
- Good communication with requesters.
- Scripting skills (PowerShell) for adapting scripts currently in place.
- Mastery of Git and GitLab version control tools.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Qualifications/Education
Required: Education Bachelor or better – Computer Science Technology, Physics or Math.
Experience Required: A total 4+ years of relevant experience as an IT Operation Specialist supporting the development of enterprise-wide information system, with working experience in financial/banking environment.
Specialist Training (Optional): Professional certifications such as Linux Foundation SC103, Microsoft AZ-104, RHCE EX294, LPIC-1 or similar are highly valued.

§ Criticality assessment: Ability to evaluate the criticality and potential impact of requested products
§ Risk evaluation: Capability to assess risks that products could bring to the Information System of CACIB
§ Impact analysis: Understanding how development libraries and software affect overall system security and
stabilityIdentify and determine enhancements to improve business processes and to mitigate/reduce
risks.
