Job Description - IT DRP, Storage and Backup Engineer

REQUIREMENTS:

•Must have relevant licenses or certifications.

• Must have at least 10 -12 years of experience, out of which:

â¢ At least three (3) years’ experience as a Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer – working with 24x7 critical systems
following ITIL framework and in projects, working with stakeholders following structured methods.

Five (5) years
preferred.

â¢ At least three (3) years’ experience with on -prem, hybrid and cloud platforms (VMware, Hyper -V, Azure Stack
HCI and Azure Cloud). Five (5) years preferred.

â¢ At least three (3) years’ system administration experience (Linux/Unix or Windows) at the command -line level.

•Experience configuring Wasabi cloud storage for long -term archival, immutable backup repositories, and integration with
tools such as Veeam and Azure.

•Working technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring, and supporting storage servers and
management software, including Veeam and Wasabi.

•Experience automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and managing hybrid environments with Azure Arc.

•Basic knowledge of troubleshooting layer 1, layer 2 and layer 3 issues.

•Good communication skills – collaborate with technical and non -technical stakeholders and be focused on problem
solving and secure end -user satisfaction of our services.

•Understanding of Business Operations (OT) concepts.

•40 -hour work week with on -call support responsibilities for critical systems.

•Occasional after -hours or weekend work required during DR drills or emergency situations.

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work
experience.

Advanced degree preferred.

•Fluent in English (written & spoken).
