## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm India Private Limited\n\n## Job Area:\n\nInformation Technology Group, Information Technology Group \u003e IT Engineering\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\nExperience in working on UNIX Operating systems like Red Hat Enterprise Linux / Ubuntu/SUSE and Solaris with hands on administration \nExperience on automation focused scripting languages like Shell/Awk/Perl/Python \nKnowledge on Virtualization/VMs, ESX/Bare Metal, Administration of physical and virtual infrastructure UNIX based hosts in complex heterogeneous environments \nIn-depth familiarity and strong troubleshooting skills in Unix operations \nHands on experience on monitoring tools and applications like Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics or Grafana \nExperience on Service management tool for handling tickets \u2013 ServiceNow (Incident, Requests, Problem and Change Management) \nAbility to triage and deal with Major outages and troubleshoot technical issues and provide resolutions \nKnowledge on JIRA \u0026 Confluence \nDocumentation of Issues/Resolution and maintaining appropriate Knowledge Bases \nExperience in Grid Computing and applications like IBM\u2019s LSF and ETX from OpenText \nKnowledge on RDBMS concepts (SQL) \nExperience on performing Data Analytics through tools like Power BI/Qlikview/Tableau/Excel \nshould be flexible and have cross platform working knowledge \nFundamentals Storage technologies, SAN \u0026 NAS concepts\n\n\u0027Experience in any of Linux, Ubuntu, redhat and clustering technologies and systems such as Code scanning would be a definite plus Experience on SAN/NAS would be a plus Experience in Batch queuing technologies/LSF is a plus.
