Job Description - IT Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Manager to oversee our organization’s technology infrastructure, ensure system efficiency and security, and lead a team of Its professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing IT -related activities while aligning them with the company's strategic goals.

  • Must have experience in supporting end users through Voice, email, and IM.
  • Must have experience in supporting a Cloud native organization.
  • Strong understanding of Windows 10,11& Microsoft office and general system administration.
  • Experience in asset management and setting up laptop/desktops for users.
  • **Mandatory requirement**: Expert level Understanding of Microsoft Cloud related solutions. (Azure, Microsoft 365, and EMS – In -tune/AIP)
  • Experience with ticketing and time tracking procedures.
  • Relentless client -focus, and ability to consistently deliver high -quality customer service.
  • Adherence to workflow best practices: attention to detail, thoroughness, and follow -through.
  • Ability to schedule accurately and effectively balance multiple short and long -term project work for timely completion.
  • Ability to work autonomously and with other members of the technical and operations teams.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day -to -day operations of the IT department including network, server infrastructure, hardware, software, and support services.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices in line with industry standards.
  • Oversee IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
  • Conduct daily scrum meetings to review progress, identify blockers, and align priorities within the IT team.
  • Track and review individual and team performance using KPIs, metrics dashboards, and periodic evaluations.
  • Lead and organize brown bag sessions to promote internal learning, skill development, and knowledge sharing among the IT team.
  • Apply project management principles to lead IT initiatives from planning to execution, using tools like Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand technological needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Provide regular leadership reporting, including status updates on ongoing projects, incidents, and strategic IT goals to senior management
  • Manage team workload, set clear expectations, and conduct performance reviews with constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Handle recruitment, onboarding, and development of new team members to ensure the right skill set and cultural fit.
  • Monitor IT systems and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., Soc2 Type 2, etc.).
  • Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost -effectiveness and transparency.
  • Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services, including user provisioning, licensing, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams through the M365 Admin Center.
  • Maintain asset inventory and ensure proper lifecycle management of hardware and software.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the IT support team, helping them resolve escalated issues and encouraging skill development
  • Monitor end -user tickets and ensure resolution within defined SLA.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT management or a similar leadership role.
