IT Operation Manager

• Manage and oversee daily IT operations, including network administration, system maintenance, helpdesk support, and infrastructure management.

• Develop, implement, and monitor IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.

• Lead and mentor the IT operations team, ensuring continuous skills development and effective resource management.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align IT services with business goals and objectives.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.

• Manage IT service delivery, including incident management, problem management, change management, and asset management.

• Oversee IT security protocols and disaster recovery plans to protect company data and maintain business continuity.

• Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

• Prepare and manage IT operations budgets, including cost optimization and procurement.

• Generate reports and dashboards on IT operations performance for senior management.

• Stay updated on emerging IT trends, technologies, and best practices to recommend improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in IT operations, IT service management, or related roles.

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and cloud platforms.

• Experience with IT service management frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, etc.).

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and disaster recovery planning.

Preferred Certifications (Optional):

• ITIL Foundation or higher

• PMP or other project management certification

• CISSP, CISM, or other security certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or equivalent cloud certifications
