IT Project Manager

Coretek Services, Inc is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Project Manager to support our clients across multiple verticals. The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting delivery quality and oversight for critically important internal and customer facing projects.As a Project Manager – Cloud Migration & Infrastructure Transformation, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end cloud migration and modernization programs while applying PMI-based project management practices to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 

• PMP Certified / trained would be preferred.  

• 5-7 years of Project Management experience delivering enterprise infrastructure and cloud transformation projects. 

• Strong understanding of PMI PMBOK methodologies and traditional Waterfall project delivery frameworks. 

• Demonstrated experience managing Cloud Migration projects involving Azure, Microsoft 365, VMware, AVS, Hybrid Cloud, and Infrastructure Modernization. 

• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, risk management, scope management, change management, and governance processes. 

• Experience creating and managing project documentation aligned with PMP standards. 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office Suite. 

Required Key Skills 

• Good knowledge of Cloud Migration & Modernization 

• Good knowledge of Azure Infrastructure & AVS Migrations 

• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 Tenant Migrations is a plus. 

• Good knowledge of PMP / PMBOK Framework 

• Good knowledge of Traditional Waterfall Project Management 

• Experience in Project Financial Management 

• Experience in Resource Planning & Capacity Management 

• Experience in Risk & Issue Management 

• Experience in Executive Stakeholder Management 

• Experience in SOW Development & Contract Management 

• Experience in Change Control & Governance 

• Experience in project management tools like Microsoft Project & Smartsheet 

• Experience in Salesforce tools is a plus. 

Statement of Work (SOW) Development & Project Initiation 

• Lead customer discovery and scoping workshops to gather business, technical, security, compliance, and migration requirements. 

• Document project scope, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, risks, and success criteria in accordance with PMI project management standards. 

• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Cloud Engineers, Infrastructure SMEs, and Security teams to develop comprehensive Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project schedules, and migration roadmaps. 

• Develop accurate Statements of Work (SOW), project charters, scope documents, and project management plans using organizational templates and PMP best practices. 

• Support the creation and maintenance of standard SOW templates for Cloud, Azure, M365, Infrastructure Modernization, Data Center Migration, and Managed Services offerings. 

• Manage SOW reviews, approvals, change requests, and governance processes throughout the project lifecycle. 

Cloud Migration Program Management 

• Lead complex cloud migration projects including: 

• Data Center to Cloud Migrations 

• Azure Infrastructure migrations 

• VMware to Azure VMware Solution (AVS) migrations 

• Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations 

• Server, application, database, and storage migrations 

• Cloud modernization and transformation initiatives 

• Develop migration strategies, migration waves, cutover plans, rollback plans, and hypercare support models. 

• Coordinate discovery, assessment, dependency mapping, migration planning, pilot migrations, production migrations, and post-migration stabilization activities. 

• Ensure adherence to cloud architecture, security, governance, compliance, and operational requirements. 

Traditional Project Management & PMP Methodologies 

• Apply PMI Project Management principles and Waterfall methodologies to manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communications, procurement, and risk. 

• Develop and maintain project management artifacts as per PMP standards. 

• Establish project governance frameworks, steering committee reviews, executive reporting, and stage-gate approvals. 

• Manage scope changes through formal Integrated Change Control processes. 

Project Delivery & Execution 

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations. 

• Manage project financials including forecasting, budget tracking, earned value analysis, resource utilization, and project profitability. 

• Develop detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, or equivalent project management tools. 

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, cloud engineers, migration specialists, security teams, and customer stakeholders. 

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies proactively. 

• Lead customer status meetings, executive reviews, and steering committee discussions.
