IT Project Manager

Main responsibilities and tasks:

• Lead and deliver the end‑to‑end data migration from legacy systems into the target system landscape across all business areas


• Plan and coordinate data extraction, profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation and migration activities in collaboration with functional stakeholders


• Guide stakeholders on data extraction, preparation, templates, data definitions, and validation steps


• Serve as the primary interface between the data community, IT, and business teams


• Ensure readiness for all data loads, including checkpoints, validation procedures, cutover preparation, and rollback options on time


• Work closely with testing, cutover, project management, and business readiness teams


• Manage RAIDs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) related to data migration


• Contribute actively to the data migration methodology and ensure alignment with the data governance framework


• Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails for all migration activities


• Drive change management activities among legacy system stakeholders to support migration readiness


• Support post‑go‑live hypercare, including triaging and resolving data‑related issues


• Analyse and resolve load defects and data validation issues during test cycles and cutover


• Capture lessons learned (e.g. AI automations) and feed them back into the migration methodology and governance structures

Competencies:

• Strong expertise in SAP ERP, ideally across FI, CO, MM, SD, and PP modules


• Deep understanding of SAP data object structures across wide range of data domains


• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills paired with structured, methodical working style


• Solution‑oriented mindset with a high drive for results


• Ability to collaborate effectively at all management levels and build strong stakeholder relationships


• Resilience under time pressure and tight delivery timelines

Education, experience and languages:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business informatics, information systems, or a related field.


• Hands‑on experience in large‑scale ERP transformation programs


• Proven experience in data migration and data management


• Knowledge of CRM and SRM systems is an advantage


• Experience with ETL tools (i.e. MS Fabric) is a plus


• Experience with AI to support data migration activities is a plus


• Proficiency in English required; additional languages an advantage
