As an IT Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving business growth by promoting and selling IT products, services, and training solutions to prospective clients. This role is ideal for someone at the early stage of their sales career who is eager to build strong foundations in IT sales, client interaction, and business development. Based in Chennai (Teynampet), this is a full-time, on-site opportunity that offers hands-on exposure to the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure. You will work closely with internal teams to understand offerings, identify customer needs, and position solutions that deliver value. The role requires enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, social platforms, and walk-in inquiries
Understand client requirements and recommend suitable IT products, services, or training solutions
Present offerings clearly and confidently to prospective customers through calls, meetings, or demos
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure trust, repeat business, and referrals
Follow up on leads, inquiries, and proposals to drive conversions and meet sales targets
Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, and sales activities using internal tracking tools
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery once a sale is closed
Stay updated on IT industry trends, competitor offerings, and basic technical concepts to communicate effectively with clients
Support marketing and promotional activities such as campaigns, events, or workshops when required
Work towards achieving individual and team sales goals while maintaining a customer-focused approach
What Makes You a Great Fit
5–6 months of experience in IT sales, inside sales, business development, or a related role
Basic understanding of IT products, services, or training programs, with a strong interest in the technology domain
Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to non-technical customers
Confidence in interacting with clients over phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings
A target-driven mindset with the motivation to achieve and exceed sales goals
Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a competitive sales environment
Strong follow-up skills and the ability to handle objections professionally
Basic knowledge of MS Office tools and comfort with using CRM or lead-tracking systems
Positive attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Based in or willing to work from Chennai (Teynampet) on a full-time basis
