IT Security Engineer

Requirements

• A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
  
• Experience using security tools (firewalls, antivirus, etc.)
  
• Understanding of data protection laws and security standards
  
• Ability to set up and manage laptops and other devices
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  
• Ability to clearly explain technical topics to non-technical people
  

• Keep company data and systems safe from hackers
  
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  
• Set up and manage security tools (like firewalls and antivirus software)
  
• Monitor systems for unusual activity and respond to threats
  
• Test systems to find and fix security issues
  
• Work with other teams to ensure systems are secure.
  
• Write rules and guidelines to protect company data
  
• Stay updated on the latest security risks and trends.
  
• Teach employees how to stay safe online
  
• Manage compliance with security policies and regulations
  
• Set up new laptops and troubleshoot common setup problems
  
• Manage and maintain company network infrastructure (routers, switches, Wi-Fi, VPN, etc.)
