IT Specialist - MS Intune

Background about IT EOC:
G+D’s IT Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) is the global delivery and support operations center for G+D groups’ global locations and subsidiaries. EOC manages the global IT Infrastructure (Server /Datacenter, Collaboration and Messaging, Mobile Device Management, Network LAN/ WAN / Wi-Fi and Firewall security) and Enterprise IT Applications (SAP, Salesforce, Mobility Applications, PLM, QA/Testing and some Custom applications). The center is also accountable for delivering high value and high visibility IT projects & programs across various IT domains.

The IT Specialist – MS Intune & Jamf is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing modern endpoint management solutions across the organization using Microsoft Intune & Jamf. This role ensures secure, scalable, and efficient device lifecycle management, including onboarding, configuration, application deployment, compliance enforcement

Tasks & Responsibilities:  (Major task and role person will have to perform – list all the relevant points)    

• Package creation (Jamf Composer, PKG files)


• Manage File Vault encryption


• Manage App Store and third-party software using Jamf


• Schedule macOS updates and patches using Jamf


• Configure Automated Device Enrollment (ADE/DEP/VPP) through Apple Business Manager


• Develop Bash, Zsh, or Python scripts for automation


• Manage end-to-end device lifecycle (onboarding to decommissioning)


• Package and deploy applications (Win32, MSI, macOS PKG)


• Implement patch management using Windows Update for Business and macOS policies


• Configure and manage Windows Autopilot deployments


• Develop and enforce compliance policies integrated with Conditional Access and vulnerability remediation


• Manage Microsoft Intune for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices


• Integrate solutions with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Graph API


• Provide L3 support and ensure SLA adherence


• Develop SOPs and technical documentation


• Collaborate with global IT and security teams

Education & Trainings + Certifications:  (Basic & Professional)

• Graduate with minimum 60% marks


• Certification in MS Intune/M365 Apps (Desired)


• ITIL v4 foundation certification (Desired)

Technical know-how: 

Mandatory

• Intune security baselines


• Strong understanding of Jamf to manage macOS


• Windows 10/11 , MacOS & Mobile Device management


• Azure AD (Entra ID) & Conditional Access


• Application deployment and lifecycle management


• Autopilot & Apple Business Manager
