1. POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

This position is responsible for Software implementation, System Integration, Development, Configuration, Technical Support, and Performance Tuning. The primary purpose of the position is to install and configure software and provide Level II Support for Vendor products with primary focus on Informatica Master Data Management. Additional responsibilities may include Development of new system functionality, Project Management and Testing. 

Experience with financial domain is desirable but not mandatory.

The ideal candidate will have an Application Development background with the ability to quickly learn vendor applications from the inside out. This position will work with Business units and the Technology Groups. Occasional travel may be required.

2. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONS: 

This position is a key position within the Vendor Products IT team. 

3. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

•    Act as platform owner for the MDM system, responsible for platform availability, performance and operational excellence.
• Lead the deployment, configuration and administration of MDM platform and related components.
• Oversee the integration of MDM platform with source and target systems, ensuring reliable data flows and synchronization.
• Manage upgrades, patches and technical enhancements of the MDM platform in coordination with vendors and internal teams.
• Monitor system health, perform root cause analysis and proactively resolve performance issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, workflows and operational manuals. 
• Collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements and compliance standards. 
• Work with IT Security team to implement security controls, access management and data privacy policies on the platform. 
• Automate routine operational tasks using scripting to improve efficiency and reduce errors. 
• Support capacity planning, disaster recovery and backup strategies for Informatica MDM. 
• Participate in development cycles, coordinating with DevOps for integration related to MDM platform deployments. 

4. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline. 
• Minimum 5 years experience managing or administering Informatica MDM platform in enterprise environments. 
• Strong expertise with MDM hub, PowerCenter and Informatica Data Quality tools.
• Hands on experience with database technologies and data integration techniques, 
• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data modelling and metadata management. 
• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting complex MDM workflows and batch processes. 
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and hybrid data architecture. 
• Understanding of data governance, security standards and regulatory compliance related to data management. 
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills. 

Preferred Skills:

• Informatica certifications such as Informatica MDM Developer or Administrator certifications. 

• Experience in a platform owner of technical lead role overseeing Informatica MDM. 

• Knowledge of Informatica Cloud services and hybrid deployment models. 

• Familiarity with API integrations and service orchestration related to MDM.

• Experience with containerizations is a plus.
