J2EE Cloud Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Core Java / J2EE
  / Servlet-based applications in a monolithic architecture, while
  contributing to modernization initiatives (cloud deployment, SaaS
  enablement).
  
• Collaborate closely with architects and
  product teams to define scalable solutions and technical designs.
  
• Provide end-to-end ownership of modules, from
  requirements analysis to deployment and performance optimization.
  
• Work on application modernization initiatives,
  including cloud migration, SaaS enablement, and performance improvements.
  
• Develop and review UML diagrams, architecture
  diagrams, and design specifications.
  
• Write high-quality code, perform code reviews,
  and ensure compliance with best practices, performance, and security
  standards.
  
• Contribute as an individual contributor (IC)
  in a client-facing setup, representing delivery excellence to Siemens
  stakeholders.
  
• Mentor junior engineers (where needed) and
  provide solutions to complex technical challenges.
  

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Core Java, J2EE, Servlets – deep expertise,
  fully hands-on.
  
• Strong knowledge of concurrency, collections,
  multithreading, synchronization, and locks (read/write locks).
  
• Expertise in data structures, algorithms, OOPS
  concepts (association, relationships, class-object fundamentals).
  
• Strong understanding of monolithic
  architecture and exposure to modernization towards cloud/SaaS.
  
• Experience in writing unit test cases
  (JUnit/TestNG).
  
• Problem-solving ability through low-level
  design, UML diagrams, and system design concepts.
  
• Hands-on experience in building scalable,
  performant applications.
  
• Exposure to client-facing roles and working
  with product architects or services companies managing long-term ODCs.
  

Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to Azure/AWS cloud deployments.
  
• Experience in performance tuning and
  optimization.
  
• Prior experience in large-scale enterprise
  product development (companies like GS Labs, Persistent, Nvidia, Veritas,
  Symantec preferred).
  
• SaaS enablement experience.
  

Educational Qualification

• B.Tech / MCA (or equivalent).
