Job Description - Java AWS Developer





  • Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.

  • Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.

  • Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.

  • Be a productive member of the team.











Requirements



  • Java AWS Developer with 6–11 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, Kafka/MQ, REST APIs, and relational databases.

  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

  • Mandatory experience with AWS.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS.

  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions using Kafka/MQ.

  • Develop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.

  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability using AWS best practices.

  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues to ensure high system availability.

  • Design and implement secure, scalable microservices architectures.

  • Perform unit and integration testing to ensure application quality and stability.

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for applications and processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver business requirements on time.

  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Work within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Experience with Kafka/MQ messaging systems.

  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.

  • Experience with RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent).

  • Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.

  • Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

  • Primary Skills: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS (Mandatory), Any RDBMS (SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL)
