Java Backend Developer

Requirements

• Experienced Java Microservices Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development, microservices architecture, and database programming.
  


• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, SQL/Database Development, and AWS Cloud Services. Basic or working knowledge of Python is preferred for automation and scripting activities.
  


• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
  


• Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs and backend services.
  


• Design, develop, enhance, and troubleshoot database objects, including Stored Procedures, Views, Cursors, Functions, and Triggers.
  


• Perform SQL development, query optimization, and database performance tuning.
  


• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services.
  


• Analyze application and database performance bottlenecks and implement appropriate optimization strategies.
  


• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
  


• Participate in application design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
  


• Support CI/CD implementation and follow DevOps best practices.
  


• Apply basic Python knowledge for automation, scripting, and data-processing activities.
  


• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security guidelines, and software development best practices.
  


• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17.
  


• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
  


• Experience in REST API development, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate/JPA.
  


• Good knowledge of Maven/Gradle.
  


• Experience with exception handling, logging frameworks, and application troubleshooting.
  


• Hands-on experience with JUnit and Mockito for unit testing.
  


• Strong SQL development skills with hands-on experience in Stored Procedures, Views, and Cursors.
  


• Experience with Functions, Triggers, database design, and data modeling.
  


• Strong understanding of query optimization and database performance tuning.
  


• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases.
  


• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and CloudWatch or equivalent services.
  


• Understanding of cloud deployment, monitoring, and application management concepts.
  


• Basic or working knowledge of Python scripting.
  


• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  


• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  


• Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.
  


• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
