Java Backend Engineer

Overview of Position:

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll build and maintain a
polyglot backend powering a real estate intelligence platform — Java
microservices for core business data, a Node.js API gateway for AI
integrations, and PostgreSQL for everything in between.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Java Spring Boot microservices
with JPA/Hibernate and RESTful APIs

·       Node.js/TypeScript Express
server handling AI streaming (AWS Bedrock), S3 media, and third -party proxying

·       PostgreSQL schema design and
Flyway migrations across a multi -service architecture

·       AWS infrastructure: ECS
Fargate, CloudFront, ALB, Secrets Manager, IAM, RDS

·       CI/CD pipelines (GitHub
Actions) building Docker images and deploying to ECS

Required Knowledge & Skills:

Experience: 6–10
years in Java Backend (w/ Spring Boot) Engineer, with a strong focus on Java backend (w/ Spring Boot).

·       - PostgreSQL — schema design,
query optimization, migrations

·       - AWS — ECS/Fargate, IAM
roles/policies, CloudFront/ALB, Secrets Manager

·       - REST API design, JWT auth,
CORS, streaming (SSE)

·       - Docker and GitHub Actions
CI/CD

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and tools
  like Jira or Azure Boards.
  
• Experience working within enterprise frameworks
  and release procedures.
  
• Familiarity with development environments,
  staging, and production workflows.
  

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Excellent time management and multitasking
  abilities.
  
• Effective communication and stakeholder
  engagement.
