Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust Java-based web applications using J2EE technologies.
  




• Develop user interfaces using JSP, Servlets, and integrate them with backend services via Spring framework.
  




• Maintain and enhance existing applications developed using Struts (on RMAX) and Spring (on SMAX).
  




• Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and QA teams to gather and understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
  




• Develop reusable components and APIs to streamline future development and integration efforts.
  




• Write and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code while ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed.
  




• Perform code reviews, identify bottlenecks, and provide solutions to optimize performance and improve user experience.
  




• Troubleshoot and debug issues across application layers – UI, server-side, and database.
  




• Stay up to date with current trends and best practices in Java development, front-end frameworks, and enterprise application architecture.
  

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in J2EE technologies including JSP, Servlets, and Spring Framework.
  




• Solid knowledge and practical experience with Java 7.
  




• Experience developing web applications with JSP and Servlets in enterprise environments.
  




• Hands-on expertise in Spring (Spring MVC, Spring Boot), dependency injection, and REST API integration.
  




• Familiarity with Struts framework is essential, especially for applications on the RMAX platform.
  




• Strong scripting skills using JavaScript and jQuery for front-end interactions and validations.
  




• Proficiency in debugging tools and techniques across server-side and client-side environments.
  

Added Advantages:

• Experience working on SMAX (Service Management Automation X) and RMAX platforms.
  




• Familiarity with integration of JSP/Spring components on SMAX and Struts on RMAX.
  




• Exposure to agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins, etc.
