We are looking for a skilled and passionate Java Developer with 3–6 years of professional experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and modern software development practices. You should be comfortable working in agile teams, designing robust APIs, and leveraging AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices for highly available distributed systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Debug production issues and implement effective solutions with minimal downtime.
• Write unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure application stability.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when required.
• Utilize AI development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, documentation, testing, and overall engineering productivity.
• Contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines and follow DevOps best practices.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot for developing enterprise-grade applications.
• Solid understanding of Microservices architecture, service communication, and distributed system design.
• Experience developing REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Strong knowledge of Java fundamentals, object-oriented programming, collections, concurrency, and JVM concepts.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and familiarity with SQL optimization.
• Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Experience using AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar) to improve software development efficiency and code quality.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with AWS services for deploying and managing cloud-native applications.
• Familiarity with Claude for software development assistance, code generation, documentation, or engineering workflows.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Passion for continuous learning and adopting emerging technologies, including AI-assisted software development.
