Job Description - Java Developer - API Devlopment

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and test RESTful APIs using Spring Boot. The role involves implementing business logic and data access layers, integrating with various data sources, and collaborating with a team of developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality microservices solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about writing clean, well-documented code, troubleshooting application issues, and contributing to process improvements.

Must-Have Skillsets (Mandatory):

- Java & Spring Framework: Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot), with experience in developing RESTful APIs and implementing business logic.

- Integration: Experience integrating with various data sources, including SQL and NoSQL databases, message queues, and external APIs.

- Code Quality: Ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code, and contribute to overall code quality through code reviews.

- Debugging & Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and debugging application issues.

- Collaboration: Experience working in a collaborative team environment with developers, testers, and other stakeholders.

- Continuous Improvement: A mindset of continuous improvement, contributing to the enhancement of development processes and tools.

Good-to-Have Skillsets (Optional):

- Microservices: Familiarity with designing and developing microservices-based architectures.

- Technology Advancements: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Java, Spring, and related technologies.

- Development Processes: Experience with agile development practices and contributing to team efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience: Proven experience in Java development, particularly in designing and implementing APIs with Spring Boot and integrating with databases and external services.

- Professional Skills: Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
