Java Technical Lead

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with 8+ of years of experience to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, specifically with expertise in Spring Boot, API development, JUnit, and Microservices architecture within the AWS ecosystem.

This role requires a candidate who is highly hands-on, possesses exceptional problem-solving skills, and demonstrates outstanding communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

➢ Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-availability applications using Java with Spring Boot.

➢ Lead the development of RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring best practices are followed.

➢ Implement and maintain microservices architecture within AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.

➢ Write comprehensive unit tests using JUnit and conduct integration testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.

➢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including frontend developers, UX designers, and product managers) to define, design, and ship new features.

➢ Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's knowledge sharing.

➢ Continuously improve code quality, system design, and processes.

➢ Participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines are adhered to.

➢ Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

➢ Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks and evaluate their adoption into projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

➢ BE/MCA or relevant degree

➢ 6+ years of proven experience as a Java Developer, with a focus on Spring Boot, API development, JUnit, and Microservices.

➢ Strong experience with AWS services and deploying applications in a cloud environment.

➢ Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

➢ Deep understanding of the full software development life cycle (SDLC).

➢ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.

➢ Strong communication and teamwork skills.

➢ Highly hands-on and passionate about coding and technology.

Desirable Skills:

➢ Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

➢ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.

➢ Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks is a plus.
